Lee Brock, MD

Board-Certified Anesthesiologist — Pain Medicine Specialist — McKinney, Texas
35+ years of practice. Named Best Pain Doctor in Collin County. Voted Best Pain Doctor in McKinney/Allen nine of the last ten years.
More than that: a physician who prays for his patients by name, who has been on 25 international medical missions, and who has spent his entire career in the same community — serving the same families, often across generations.

More Than a Physician

Dr. Brock grew up in Lubbock, Texas, and came to McKinney more than 35 years ago. He and his wife, Sarah, have four children. Their son is a West Point graduate and Ranger School veteran. Their oldest daughter is a family practice physician at Healing Hands Ministries in Dallas. Their second daughter is an oncology nurse at Parkland Hospital. Their third daughter is an editor at Duke University Press.
That family legacy of service is not incidental to who Dr. Brock is as a physician. It is the same thread running through his practice, his community involvement, and the way he treats every patient who comes to see him.

His Approach to Care
Dr. Brock describes pain as “a great disabler in America” — something that takes capable, active people and strips away their ability to work, sleep, move, and engage with the people they love. His goal has never been to manage that disability indefinitely. It has been to address its source.
He is known for spending time with patients. For not rushing. For asking questions that other providers don’t ask. For being honest about what treatment can and cannot accomplish. And for a faith-based practice that means something to him personally and, as patients consistently describe, to them as well.
